Auto-Reply messages let you automatically respond to any text message received to your Hushed number. Set rules and responses for every situation!
Create a 'General Reply' for whenever you receive a text message - e.g. "Sorry, I'm busy at the moment"
Create a 'Specific Reply' for specific text strings - e.g. If you're hosting an Airbnb and your guests text "Wifi" to your Hushed number, respond back with your WiFi password without having to lift a finger!
How to set up Auto-Reply Messages
1️⃣ Select a phone number in the 'Hushed Phone' menu that you'd like to send an Auto Reply Message from
2️⃣ Select the 'Settings' icon at the bottom right of the navigation bar
3️⃣ Select 'Auto Reply Message'
4️⃣ Configure your Auto Reply Messages with the following options:
- General Auto Reply
i. Toggle ON/OFF 'General Auto Reply'
ii. Enter your auto response message into the empty field that you'd like use as an auto response to ALL text messages that your number receives. Press the 'Save' button on the top right corner of the screen to save and enable your General auto reply message.
- Specific Auto Reply
i. Specific Auto Reply allows you to set an auto response to a SPECIFIC text string that your number receives (e.g. if you receive a text saying "Wifi", you can auto respond with the message "the Wifi password is XXXXX")
ii. Select the '+' icon beside the "Specific Auto-Reply" on the screen. Enter the text string that you'd like to set an auto response for in the first empty field 'If (ENTER TEXT STRING HERE) then reply with...'
❗NOTE: The text string entered must match the exact message you expect to receive on your number (non-case sensitive)
iii. Enter your auto response message into the empty field below that you'd like use as an auto response to the specific text string entered above
iv. Press the 'Go or Check' button on the bottom right corner of the screen to save and enable your auto reply message created for that specific rule by turning on the sliding icon beside the auto reply.
v. You can create multiple rules for multiple text strings by following the same steps above. To delete a rule, swipe left on the rule listed within the Auto Reply settings menu and select 'Delete'
